Tijuca Forest is the largest forest in the world within city limits. The forest is very dense, but no mosquitos!

Bat cave that has no bats.


The yellow dish is a root that tastes like a potato. The red one is a tender and flavorful beef that tastes like beef jerky smothered with onions and olives.


The main course is a very tasty beef. The rice is covered with green broccoli.

Christ the Redeemer

It was created by French sculptor Paul Landowski and built by Heiton de Silva Andrew and Albert Caquot. It was completed on 10-12-1931

and  has became one of the Wonders of the World in 2007.

The statue is 125 feet tall including the pedestal. The arms stretch 92 feet.
