Morio went to Swimming today and witnessed America in all it’s glory.
Morio also noticed the people who work behind the scenes to make the Games run smoothly. Here is what he found out about what they get for helping out.
Watch for them on TV, they are wearing tan pants with a 360 degree logo (made in China), and multi color jacket and green shoes. I talked to several volunteers from different countries as well as volunteers from different parts of Brazil. They receive their uniforms, either lunch or dinner and a subway ticket. They have to pay for their accommodations, transportation to get to Rio and pay full price for tickets to see other events, just like me. I am disappointed that the Olympic organization seems to be taking advantage of the volunteers.
